Glossary

Probate: Accreditation by electronic means of the identity of a person or body, of the content of the will expressed in his operations, transactions and documents, and of the integrity and authorship of these last.

Certification: According to the article 6 of the Law 59/2003, of 19 December, of Electronic Signature, "Document signed electronically by a lender of services of certification that links some data of verification of signature to a signatory and confirms his identity".

Certificate recognised: According to the article 11 of the Law 59/2003, of 19 December, of Electronic Signature: "they Are certificates recognized the electronic certificates issued by a lender of services of certification that fulfill the requirements established in this Law regarding the crosscheck of the identity and other circumstances of the applicants and to the reliability and the guarantees of the services of certification that loan".

Electronic document: Information of any in shape electronic nature, filed in an electronic support according to a determinate and susceptible format of identification and treatment differentiated.

Electronic signature: Group of data in shape electronic, consigned beside others or associated with them, that can be used like half of identification of the signatory (*art. 3 of the Law 59/2003, of 19 December, of Electronic Signature). · Electronic signature Advanced: electronic Signature that allows to identify to the signatory and detect any change subsequent of the data signed, that is linked to the signatory of only way and to the data to that refers and that has been created by means that the signatory can keep under his exclusive control (*art. 3 of the Law 59/2003, of 19 December, of Electronic Signature).

Electronic signature Recognized: electronic Signature advanced based in a certificate recognized and generated by means of a safe device of creation of signature (*art. 3 of the Law 59/2003, of 19 December, of Electronic Signature).

Lender Of Activity of Service: Any physical or juridical person that offer or loan an activity of service.

Lender Of Services of Certification: it Is that physical or juridical person that, fulfilling the requirements that determines the legislation established on electronic signature, is prepared to issue electronic certificates. In the Spanish legislation to the "Lender of services of certification" designates them also "third parts of confidence". It has a lot felt this second denomination, as what do is to act between issuer and receptor like third part that guarantees that each is the one who says to be without possibility of error. It is important that this third part of confidence offer us the sufficient guarantees. The electronic certificates issued by the FNMT- RCM have validity in all the Public Administrations.

System of electronic signature: Group of elements intervinientes in the creation of an electronic signature. In the case of the electronic signature based in electronic certificate, compose the system, at least, the electronic certificate, the support, the reader, the application of signature used and the system of interpretation and verification used by the receptor of the document signed.

Sealed of time: Accreditation to charge of a third of confidence of the date and hour of realisation of any operation or transaction by electronic means.
